The Book Teller has teamed up with Whitewater Grocery Co.. and their awesome volunteer, Sam Pike, for a workshop on wild-crafted soda!
Cost: $20. Please stop at The Book Teller to purchase your spot in the workshop and RSVP GOING ASAP. Max 12 attendees.
Sam shares, "Making your own soda can be as easy as going on a walk through the woods. In this workshop we will explore how to make soda through a variety of different methods, using both easily foraged ingredients, and stuff you can pick up from your grocery store! By the end of the workshop you will have tasted a variety of different sodas, know how to recreate them, and have some to take home!"
About Sam:
He was first introduced to the joys of home-fermenting when he first made kombucha at the age of 16 and never stopped from there. Through years of schooling and moving, his love of fermentation is one of the few things that stayed constant, but constantly evolved. He's worked at fermentation labs, studied different cultural and historical ferments, and he's tried to ferment just about everything under the sun. What started as just a neat hobby, has turned into a way of life for him-- a passion he wants to share with everyone.
