Fresh Reads Book Club

The Whitewater Grocery Cooperative and The Book Teller present Fresh Reads, a spankin new book club that’s all about food, community, and sustainability. Join us to discuss our first selection, The Town that Food Saved, by Ben Hewitt. We’ll meet at the First Street picnic tables at 7pm for a chat about the inspiring story of how a hardscrabble farming community jump-started their economy through a self-sustaining food system unlike anything else in America. Come on out and enjoy April in Wisconsin, 2021! Think sun, but if the weather is truly terrible, we’ll move to a more agreeable location. Check in with us on Facebook or Instagram, or give us a call at (262) 269-9109 for the latest updates.
